Aaauuugghhhh! $30 cheaper and 40 GB more. Way to punish the early adopters, Acer. >:(
My local (Va., USA) Micro Center store has, at last count, 81 of the Windows XP model and 23 of the Linux model piling up in inventory so I wonder if the price cut is partly an effort to start getting the product moving off the shelves (despite great reviews, a lot of folks seem to either not know about them or not understand the Netbook category).
I was going to get one this weekend, but the announcement’s stopped me cold. 
Anybody know when this is going to be available in the UK?
Dang. According to the web site, our MicroCenter in Santa Clara, CA has none in stock 
I can’t find any store that sells this one already (in the US). It’s not even on Acer’s site yet.
Anyone have an idea when and where to get it?
