atheros (brand of the WiFi card used in the aspire one) has released a new wireless driver.
Its on the sites download page now :)
It does seem to run online streaming videos a little better with this new driver.

*note this driver was orginally found by running an automatic windows update through Windows XP, its not on the Acer website yet.

Can you post the link? It still has the old drivers in both the Acer sites I go to.

I just updated my driver and everything is much faster. Here are the before and after numbers (all the tests were done on Speedtest.net)

HP Laptop:
6720/426 kbps

Acer before update:
111/72 kbps

Acer after update:
6788/422 kbps

I didn’t follow the links in the above comments. I just updated the driver through the Device Manager. The driver is 7.6.0.260.

Hope everyone else sees these improvements.
