Rather than turn the display to vertical, I keep it horizontal and put it on the console of my elliptical trainer. It fits perfectly. I then read as I work out!

Excellent. I just got this machine two days ago (but had lurked on the site previously while researching), and hadn’t thought of using it like this.

Heck, I’d even forgotten about that Google system.

Linpus users can execute (Alt+F2) the following command to rotate the screen left:
xrandr -o 1
xrandr -o 3 to right
and to return screen to normal mode do xrandr -o 0
