<description>Elive 1.31 and later does NOT fully support the Acer Aspire One A series versions (8.9&quot; screen), nor the H series (11.6&quot; screen).

On the A series (A110 and A150) Elive has two critical bugs, preventing the use of the Elive distro:
Bug report : http://bugs.elivecd.org/index.php?do=details&amp;task_id=414&amp;project=2
Elive shuts down within 30-60 seconds after booting, whether one boots to the Enlightenment desktop, or to a root prompt, indicating a problem with the Kernel compile parameters used for the Elive supplied kernel.

And bugreport : http://bugs.elivecd.org/index.php?do=details&amp;task_id=413&amp;project=2

You cannot boot with an SD card in either of the two cardreaders. The boot will hang just after populating the udev framework.

Appearently the much advertised &quot;full support for the Acer Aspire One netbook&quot; stems from testing Elive on only the 10&quot; D series models.

So stear clear of Elive if you do not have an Acer Aspire One D150 or D250. Elive won&#039;t work on other versions at present.</description>
