Coming to a close of 2008, and what a year it has been for Acer, and their Aspire One netbook, which has taken the world by storm.  Acer has taken top spot overall for world wide sales, and surpassesed the Asus eeePC for sales.  In the new year Acer will be introducing the new 10″ Aspire One netbook, which will no doubt prove to be another top seller.

In 6 months AspireOneUser.com has become the most popular user based website on the net with over 750,000+ hits a day, with the latest news and a message forum with a lot of helpful members with guides and information, the forum has now just over 15,000 members, which I thank you all for making what it is.

Hopefully in the new year, I’ll get a in-house review of the new Acer Aspire 10″ netbook that is due out Feb/March 2009.

When it comes to the about page, I never know what to say, but here it goes

Soon as I seen the press release on the new AcerAspire One laptop, I thought this is for me; for £220 you get the 8.9″ Linux version with 8GB SSD internal flash hard drive or 120GB hard drive model, two memory card slots, a spare DDR2 So-Dimm memory slot, USB, Wi-Fi  is a bargain.  This will beat anything out at the moment (including the market leader Asus with their eeePC)

Acer are also bringing out a Windows XP version for £299, this one includes 1GB Ram and a standard 2.5″ 120GB hard drive.
