6-Cell Battery Adds Battery Life, Weight, Girth

I know there are a lot of UK folks on these forums, so you may have seen one of these already.

I ordered a 6-Cell Battery from GPSForLess.co.uk via eBay and it arrived yesterday. (They don't offer it in the U.S., yet.)

Here are the unboxing pics.

One word: HUGE. That means both battery life (more than 5.5 hours, untested) and size:

6-cell?! Size-wise, it resembles the 9-cell modules out there. I'm posting this from my Canadian 6-cell AA1 and it's nowhere as... humongous.

Do you have any pics? It's a 6600 mAh which I believe is 6-cell.

Actually, the 6-cell is 5200 mAh, that 6600 mAh is a 9-cell.

Anyway, you should get plenty more than 5.5 hours off of that baby - I get five hours of regular use easy on the 6-cell, even six when used moderately.

yep I can confirm that the 6 cell is definitely not that huge or heavy, looks a lot more like a 9-cell. and if it is I'd be kicking myself since I've just ordered my 6-cell!!

The 6 cell which I held in my hand before is one er bump not two, and it kind of poitns downwards toward the table...
