Taiwanese site mobile01 have taken apart the Acer Aspire One, which clearly shows 2 DDR2 Dimm slots, one on the front and one on the back of the main board (slot on the back looks like its removable, they must have added this additional stick of ram to just to show viewers, or else it has 2 512mb sticks ie..the 1GB model, one soldiered one extra added ??..time will tell)
As pointed out by a member (neilk) on our forums UK electronics site Play.com has the 8GB SSD Acer Aspire One at the best price currently available in the UK at £199, just after Acer announced yesterday it would be now £220.

They also have the 80GB (if it is actually 80GB ??) model listed for £229, which is the same price as CCLOnline in the UK, however Play.com does free delivery !

UPDATE 04/07/08 - As thought Play.com has put their price of the 8GB SSD Model to £219.99, the 120GB Models start from £229.99, good luck to those who got in early before the price rise.
UPDATE - Play.com have just updated their site, and the models they have listed now include a 120GB hard drive!
